1930s Birdseye Maple Dining Room Set in Hempstead, New York

This is a 1930s era Birdseye Maple Dining Room Set. The table and large pieces are in very good condition and feature Birdseye Maple Oval Inlay on the table top as well as intricate carved details and legs. The faces of the large server and china cabinet are adorned with Birdseye Maple Veneer and Marquetry Inlay. This set comes with a matching very long server, a side buffet, and an upright china cabinet. The set also comes with two matching master chairs and three dinner armless chairs - one matching chair is missing from this set. Some light wear and scuffs of the dinner table edges and top as well as some discolored white seat fabric of some of the chair seats. The tall china cabinet is missing some veneer along the curved door borders and some faces of the furniture veneered faces display minor normal shrinkage due to age. This set is in relatively very good all around condition and has a luxurious and majestic look and feel.
