1930s Mahogany Dining Room Set in Hempstead, New York

This is a 1930s era Mahogany Dining Room Set. The table and large pieces are in very good to excellent condition and feature deep lusterous Mahogany bookmarked veneer and carved wood appliques as well as turned legs with carved details. The dinner table top has a banded edge and features carved detailed side panels as well. 5 extra extension leafs are also provided with a lower support leg for long extensions. The large server and china cabinet are also faced with bookmarked veneer and appliques. All chairs have been previously re-upholstered with a very good quality and attractive Velour patterned fabric and feature wonderful carved detail and turned legs. This set comes with a matching long server, china cabinet, two matching master chairs and four armless dinner chairs. Some minor age and shrinkage marks or cracks as well as some light wear scuffs on the dinner table top. The five table leaf extensions may also display some scratches and wear from storage. Other than these age and wear issues this quality set is in relatively excellent all around condition and offers a great classic look.
