1940s Maple French Dining Room Set in Hempstead, New York

This is a 1940s era Dining Room Set in a French Provincial Style. We believe the table top and frame to be made of Maple Wood. The table and chairs are in very good condition and feature intricate Maple Inlay on the table top as well as carved details and legs.
This set comes with eight (8) matching chairs and two (2) 24" long table extensions (one installed as pictured brings it to 97" long). With both extensions installed the table is 123" long. The two matching master chairs and six dinner chairs display the original stained, worn, and discolored fabric on most of the chairs. They will require re-upholstery. Some visible minor wear and scuffs of the dinner table edges and some on chair legs. The maple top faces display some moderate and normal shrinkage and checking due to age but are sound and not scratched and does not detract from the beauty of the top sections. The table edges and chair frames can easily be re-colored or changed to any desired look or color scheme. This set has a lot of potential and designers are welcome to inspect it.
